Born in Vienna, raised in Switzerland and Hong Kong, creativity has been a part of my identity from an early age. However, it wasn't until several years later that I was able to fully devote myself to my love of sketching and drawing.

My formative years were spent in London, Florence and Vienna in the world of fashion and graphic design as well as photography, before becoming a graphic designer professionally in Vienna. After the birth of my second child in 2015, I was finally able to rediscover my initial passion. Ever since then, I have been a freelance artist and illustrator. I live with my husband and three children in Vienna.

I am passionate about detail, clarity and precision. Known by many as a perfectionist, I see this as a means to establish harmony and equilibrium. With the growth of my family, this became all the more essential, albeit harder to sustain. As an artist, I am confronted with a daily struggle, that continuously challenges me on a daily basis. It can be exasperating but at the same time it forces me to rise beyond myself and give my work my all. "Persistence is key. In EVERYTHING. No resilience; no triumph."

I try my best to live by this principle every day. I believe that talent is a gift and the recipient of something so special should handle it with care and try to make the best out of what he/she has been given. My fascination for animals, the focal points of my work, should not come as too great a surprise. This manifests in the alleged chaos of the lines, blotches, scales and hair which collectively produce a balanced harmony: the perfection of creation.

The most beautiful moment whilst drawing is when my thoughts calm down, my hand finds its own rhythm and I am able to sense that I am on the right path. That is my motor. Trust, discipline and humor are the main ingredients for success.
